Conducting a campaign "After the repair, don't throw away, recycle!" to raise awareness regarding the separate collection and recycling of construction waste

Despite the prohibition to dispose of construction waste in household waste containers or packaging containers, a large number of households, when carrying out renovations, dispose of their waste directly in them or leave it in unregulated landfills. This is a big problem for municipalities, and in this regard it is important to conduct a campaign that calls on households and construction companies not to throw away construction waste, but to hand it over for processing and recycling. The campaign will inform about the reasons why the ban was imposed, the damage caused to nature by unregulated disposal of construction waste, as well as the possibility of recycling this waste and putting it back into construction. The main goal of the campaign will be to reduce the harmful impact of waste by preventing its formation and promoting its reuse. The campaign will be carried out in two stages, the first of which will develop leaflets and a video about the separate collection and recycling of construction waste. The leaflets will be distributed in the administrative buildings, commercial outlets for construction materials, as well as through the mailboxes in the residential buildings. A video clip will also be filmed, which will be available on the project website, the official websites and Facebook pages of the 4 municipalities, etc. The second stage of the campaign will consist of organizing a spring and autumn campaign for free removal of construction waste generated by construction activities and home repairs.
