Despite the prohibition to dispose of construction waste in household waste containers or packaging containers, a large number of households, when carrying out renovations, dispose of their waste directly in them or leave it in unregulated landfills. This is a big problem.
In this regard, municipalities call on households and construction companies not to throw away construction waste, but to hand it over for processing and recycling.
The campaign "After the repair, don't throw away, recycle!" is part of the implementation of project BGENVIRONMENT-3.002-0005-C02 "Measures to improve waste management in the municipalities of Ruse, Tutrakan, Slivo Pole and Vetovo", which is implemented under the "Environmental Protection and Climate Change" program, of the FM of EEA 2014-2021.
